About FOC NZ
Festival of Cricket NZ was founded in 2020, with the humble objective of bringing the NZ based Sri Lankan community together through the beautiful game of cricket. Our team consist of mates from different walks of life that share a passion for Cricketand Sri Lankan culture
So far we have delivered three iconic and succeeding FOC events (excluding year 2022, due to lockdown). Last year we had the honor of delivering a first of its kind outdoor band performance - by a SL band in Auckland - as part of the event. This elevated the project from a mere cricket tournament to a incredible family event which was expressively commendedby the audience.
Dedication and delivering results is our specialty. We are back with yet another remarkable strategy and many surprisesfor the entire family.

Our Vision
Our Vision for this year is to create the energy and vibe of the Sri Lankan big match atmosphere here in New Zealand and to create an evening full of activities and festivitiesfor the whole family.
In addition to delivering the yet another incomparable FOC standard of a cricket tournament, This year we are going bigger with the family event theme– We are partnering with our Sister Company BARU Creations as event planners to organize a full outdoor performance backed by veteran and popular Sri Lankan artists.
We thrive on optimizing this event to benefit all parties involved, the Teams, the Sponsors and the Audience. We are also launching a Charity Project with the proceeds to helpyoung Sri Lankan Cricketers.
Our Audience
Our Audience mainly consists of the Sri Lankan Cricket lovers based in Auckland, New Zealand and their families. Last event we had a participation of 800+ individuals. This year with signing up of 32 school teams (to date) and more importantly the introduction of the musical event, we are planning to double the We have some special programs for the young cricketers in partnership with Auckland Cricket which we anticipate willattract families with young kids. We are also signing up few second generation kiwi-Sri Lankan teams – who attended schools in NZ, therefore expanding our target audience. participation.
